Pasta with Kidney beans

Difficulty: Medium

This recipe is slightly more difficult than usual; however it is perfect if you need to host anyone on a vegetarian diet.

4 cups of Fusilli pasta (flat pasta)
2 cups of kidney beans
¼ cups of chopped onions
2 tablespoons of olive oil
½ cups of liquid from kidney beans (the can that it was in)
1 cup of milk
2 cups of grated cheese cheddar (or a type of cheese you prefer)
1 teaspoon of salt
1/3 cups of bread crumbs


Drain the beans and keep ½ a cup of liquid from it.Next fry up the onions with the olive oil. Mix together the cheese, kidney beans, kidney bean liquid, milk, and seasonings.Heat slowly until cheese is melted. Remove from stove and place the mixture into an oven dish. Mix bread crumbs with a tad of butter. Then sprinkle bread crumbs on top of everything. Set oven at 350F and bake for 30 minutes.
